About the studio
A studio built around slow rooms.
Autumn Lynn Carroll grew up wandering the antique malls of East Tennessee with her grandmother, learning to spot the difference between a thing that's old and a thing that has lived. Devhassy Studio is the small practice she founded in 2014 to bring that same quiet attention into other people's homes.
We are not a large firm. There is no in-house line of furniture, no ten-step branded process. There is one designer, a handful of trusted craftspeople around Nashville, and a deep belief that a home should outlast trends — and feel like its people, not its decade.

Our philosophy
Quietness is a finish.
The most photographed room in the world is not the one you'd want to live in. We design for the in-between hours — coffee mornings, Sunday reading, the long stretch between dinner and sleep. Rooms shouldn't shout. They should hold you.
That means natural materials over synthetic; honest finishes over high-gloss; fewer pieces, chosen carefully. It also means working with what you already love. Almost every project begins by walking your house with you and listing what stays.
